Description
The cone is made of highly elastic vulcanised rubber, resistant to impacts and crushing from vehicle passage.
The conical part is painted with paints that reduce ageing and increase resistance against weather conditions.
Reflective bands of class II are applied to the conical part to enhance the visibility of the cone itself.
The base of the cone has a configuration that allows for high stability and reduces rolling in the event of falls to the ground.
The base at the bottom features support feet that ensure water drainage.
The upper tip of the cone facilitates handling during installation and removal.
Dimensional and technical characteristics:
- Maximum dimensions: height 50 cm
- square base 28x28 cm
- Weight 2.1 kg
External surface treatments:
- painting of the conical part in anti-ageing red
- application of 3 High Intensity Grade reflective bands
Miscellaneous:
- The spacing for placing the cone is 12 m in a straight line and 5 m in a curve; in built-up areas, the frequency is halved, unless a different distance is required for particular road and traffic situations.
The cone must be used to highlight work or maintenance areas lasting no longer than 2 days
Functionality description:
- The cone is used to delineate and highlight work areas, for maintenance operations, for marking horizontal signage, to indicate areas affected by accidents, for temporary channeling, for checkpoints, for the provisional signalling of opposing traffic directions and delimiting temporary obstacles.
Mechanical characteristics:
- Element made of highly elastic vulcanised rubber
