This ready-to-use DUCT ECO breathing kit from SPASCIANI in the non-assisted version is a device already selected for 2 operators who need to carry out activities and work in confined spaces with certain characteristics and accessories already defined (it is important for the safety officer to review the composition of the kit and the technical data sheets of the products)
USAGE MODE: breathing is achieved solely by the force of the lungs. The principle of operation is identical for both versions: the operator breathes air taken from outside the contaminated area via a corrugated tube.
INFO FRESH AIR RESPIRATORS (DUCT) DUCT is a range of Fresh Air Isolating Respirators with a full mask designed for use in confined spaces such as tanks, cisterns, silos, wells, gas pipelines, sewer networks, and in all cramped places with low oxygen presence where ventilation can change suddenly, altering the concentration of toxic substances present in the environment. It must still be possible to draw uncontaminated air from the external environment.
DUCT is a simple, easy, and intuitive device, ideal for users who are not highly specialised and requires basic training. The tube, positioned over the shoulders, ensures ease of movement. Its limited weight and the case with handles make it easily transportable.
DUCT requires low maintenance.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION DUCT ECO (non-assisted) consists of a harness equipped with an adjustable belt and shoulder straps with a Velcro strap that keeps the corrugated tube in position over the shoulder and along the back, allowing the operator to move even in confined spaces. The collector, located at the belt, connects the corrugated tube and the supply tube.
The breathing tube is equipped with a standard threaded connector according to EN 148/1 for the part that connects to the full mask and a special threaded connector for the part that connects to the collector.
The supply tube is available in lengths of 10 m. For DUCT ECO (non-assisted), the maximum length is 20 metres. A bayonet connector allows the segments to be connected to reach the necessary length. For DUCT ECO (non-assisted), the end of the supply tube is equipped with a filter designed to prevent the accidental penetration of external particles such as dust, granules, etc. Both the filter and the fan are provided with a fixing peg to keep the end of the tube in position.
All components are delivered in a plastic carrying case with warranty seals, making DUCT easily transportable. The full mask, to be ordered separately, can be chosen from the wide range of TR 82 and TR 2002.
DUCT ECO (non-assisted) can be easily transformed into DUCT A ECO (assisted) using a specific kit that includes the insertion of the electric fan.
CLASSIFICATION DUCT ECO is a Personal Protective Equipment - External air intake respirators for use with a full mask. It complies with the provisions of regulation (EU) 2016/425 according to 138:1994.
