The CleanSpace EX Power Unit is a battery-powered intrinsically safe positive pressure respirator.
The CleanSpace EX is suitable for use in certain flammable or potentially explosive atmospheres where there is a risk of explosion.
Suitable for protection against dust and gases.
The CleanSpace EX respirator can be used with CleanSpace half masks or full masks.
The unit is compatible with the entire range of CleanSpace filters, both particulate filters (P3) and combined gas filters (A1P3, ABE1P3) and pre-filters.
The half mask is not certified as intrinsically safe.

Suitable applications for environments requiring intrinsically safe certification:
Mining operations requiring equipment with a "Very High" protection level (Ma) and "ia" level, explosion protection in environments where there is a constant risk of Methane presence.
Environments containing propane and ethylene gases requiring a "High" equipment protection level (Gb) and "ib" level explosion protection, where the presence of such gases is likely (zone 1).
CleanSpace units are suitable for use in asbestos removal.

LIMITATIONS
CleanSpace is a positive pressure assisted ventilation mask designed to be worn in environments where there is sufficient oxygen to ensure safe breathing. Do not use the CleanSpace in IDLH (immediately dangerous to life and health) environments, for protection against gases/vapours that cannot be filtered, or in oxygen-enriched or deficient environments.
