HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT RUBBER TRACK FOR YOUR MATERIAL? - Two criteria are essential for choosing the track: the size and the type of rollers mounted on the machines.
1. The size of the track corresponds to a numbering system that relates to its width, pitch length, and the number of links.
2. Type of rollers - For machines equipped with externally supported rollers, you must choose the version with rail type (RT). - For machines equipped with internally supported rollers, you must choose the version without rail type (NRT).
HOW TO OPTIMISE THE LIFESPAN OF YOUR TRACKS - Regularly check the tension of the track to avoid premature wear. Insufficiently tensioned tracks can derail more easily. Conversely, a track that is too tight generates a loss of strength. Applying excessive pressure will lead to excessive wear, potentially causing breakage. - Constantly strive to keep the tracks clean, especially after use in corrosive environments (oil, salt, grease, fertilisers, hot tar). - Before replacing the tracks, ensure that the components (rollers, pulleys, etc.) are not worn.
